On October 3, 2023, I had the honor to receive the St. Christopher Medal from the Krakow Museum for my long-standing cooperation and merits in the field of research and activities for the safeguarding of intangible cultural heritage, and especially because of my work on including The Nativity Scene (szopka) tradition on the UNESCO Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

The ceremony was attended by Krakow Mayor Jacek Majchrowski, Krakow Museum Director Michał Niezabitowski, Chairman of the Krakow Museum Council Professor Jacek Purchla, Chairman of the Permanent Conference of Directors of Krakow Museums Jacek Górski, Chairman of the Krakow City Council and Chairwoman of the Culture Committee of the Krakow City Council.
